Mombasa based singer Ali Khamisi Mwanguli, popularly known as Ally B was pronounced dead after succumbing to a short illness on Wednesday.
President William Ruto together with Ally B fans have expressed their condolences.
In a message on his official X account, President Ruto eulogized Ally B as a musician “who harnessed his talent to foster unity and harmony in our society.”
“Ali Khamisi Mwanguli inscribed his message of peace deep within our hearts, and will forever carry that meaningful tune. May God provide solace to his family, friends and devoted fans,” added President Ruto.
According to source close to the singer, Ally B died as a result of high blood pressure. He was pronounced dead at the Makadara hospital in Mombasa where he was rushed.
