FORMER MP NANDI ALFRED KETER ABDUCTED BY CIVILIAN POLICE

Former Nandi Hills Member of Parliament, Alfred Keter, a firebrand critic of President William Ruto and strong supporter of ongoing antigovernment protests in Kenya claims he has been abducted and taken to an undisclosed location.

Reports and online circulating videos suggests that the Former Member of Parliament was attending a church service when the incident occurred. The videos show him forcefully being dragged into a Toyota pickup number plate KBE 256H which according to speculations is a fake number plate. Yesterday when the MP attended the burial of famous Kenyan comedian, Fred Omondi he praised the youths for coming together to fight the regime in power. He has been seen as a strong critic of William Ruto never since.

This raised concerns all over the internet as famous members of public questioned the legitimacy of the regime.

From Nairobi Senator, Edwin Sifuna x page,” this is why #RutoMustGo. Let no one lie to you, there will be no ‘change of heart’ for this regime. we cannot live like this. Kenya must remain a constitutional democracy….”

Dr Miguna Miguna lawyer posted,” Resign. You are a serving thug with zero respect for the rule of law. Zakayo is a thug surrounded by thugs… this can’t be tolerated”

Law Society of Kenya President, Faith Odhiambo questioned if the country was back to the old Moi’s regime. Former LSK President Nelson Havi said,” this is totally unacceptable. This isn’t one of the lawful processes/ procedures that allows law enforcement agencies to arrest a suspect… “

Siaya Governor H.E James Orengo posted,” abductions , killings , terror and ruthless repression Kenya is beginning to look more like Haiti than Haiti. RELEASE ALFRED KETER…

This has caused an uproar through the country and abroad with the international human rights questioning the legitimacy of the regime and want the president to come out and speak against injustice in the nation.
