BARACK AND MICHELLE OBAMA ENDORSE KAMALA HARRIS AS DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE
Former US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have now confirmed their full support for Vice President Kamala Harris to clinch the Democratic presidential nomination.
The Obamas communicated the endorsement in a personal call to Harris, outlining their full support for her candidacy.
It was on X that Barack Obama came out to express his belief in Harris’s potential as President. “Earlier this week, Michelle and I called our friend Kamala Harris. We told her we think she’ll make a fantastic President of the United States, and that she has our full support. At this critical moment for our country, we’re going to do everything we can to make sure she wins in November. We hope you’ll join us,” Obama said.
The endorsement underscored the power and muscle that Harris now wields in her quest for the presidency.
Michelle Obama also came out to air her views on Harris, speaking about her personal attributes and why they support her. “I am so proud of my girl, Kamala.”.
