Joyce Gituro, the former host of Radio Citizen TV, has finally disclosed her reasons for leaving Media Max.
She claims that the surroundings were impeding her ability to succeed.
In a Jeff Kuria interview, she revealed, She and Jerida Andayi co-hosted a show.
I was employed by Citizen from 2004 to 2011.I got promoted in 2011 and was told I would only be performing one Sunday show.
Since I was not saved, I was not interested in doing the show.Though I now thank God for it since it allowed me to get to know God better, I couldn’t have imagined waking up to preach.
“Gituro went on, “I saw an opportunity to expand in 2018 when Media Max hired me to oversee six stations.
As the brand manager, that was me. Although it wasn’t horrible, I couldn’t work there.
After a year and a half, I resigned. Despite being a single mother, I quit.”Joyce claims she received Covid-19 shortly after her resignation.”I also considered my investments and concluded that I could provide for my children’s education.
I could get by for the first five years following my resignation.Covid-19 arrived in 2020.
I also started a communications business.Being on the air is my passion, and I miss it. However, I’d never want to return to radio full-time.”
