Renowned radio presenter Natalie Githinji announced her exit from NRG Radio after five years at the station. On Wednesday evening, October 5, she posted that:.

Her departure follows a series of exits at the station. “I’m so grateful for the support of the great team that I got to work with, saying. “My last day here marks the close of one of the significant chapters of my life.”

She announced that she would pursue new opportunities and challenges. “I’m excited about the roads forward,” she said. Githinji hosted a morning show that enjoyed the highest audience in young listeners due to her fantastic wit and humor.

She is not just a radio host, as she boasts over 640,000 followers on Instagram. Other crafts by Githinji include acting, being a red-carpet host, and ambassador for endometriosis awareness. Indeed, this jack-of-all-trades proves how multitasking one can be within the entertainment arena.

Of late, NRG Radio has witnessed a number of exits. Shaquille O’Neill Oduk alias ShaqtheYungin exited the station in May after six years.

Before him were two major presenters, Mwalimu Rachel and DJ Xclusive, who exited in March this year.

They both hosted a similar show and were with the station for six years.

Mwalimu Rachael has since joined the Radio Africa Group, alongside DJ Xclusive. Their exit was a big blow to NRG Radio.

Only six months earlier, the station had also lost Azeezah Hashim. She exited the station after two years to join Royal Media’s Hot96 FM.

These exits now paint the astonishing change at NRG Radio. The radio station has lost almost all its hit presenters from its early days in the Kenyan market.

Githinji’s announcement adds to the growing list of changes at NRG Radio. The future of the station remains uncertain.
