The police said this is part of the ongoing operations that will see others netted and arraigned in court.
The scams have caused residents in the region to lose a lot of money, with over Sh10 billion reportedly lost to the overseas education and job recruitment fraud deals.
Mwanthi said the arrests came against the backdrop of increased public outcry over the fraudulent deals.
During the operation, officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations identified numerous job seekers who were still in queues at the premises of the fraudster agents.
Mwanthi gave an assurance that they will ensure that all those behind the scams are arrested and arraigned in courts of law. He said the suspects in police cells are awaiting arraignment in court.

While police action is an effort to break the operational ring of the fraudulent recruitment agencies and to somehow mitigate the serious grievances that have befallen the community.
