“WE ARE NOT ENGAGING WITH PRESIDENT RUTO,” GEN -Z STATES

For the past days the President has led a campaign that he agrees to have a dialogue with the youths.  During the Statehouse roundtable meeting yesterday Sunday evening the President confirmed his interest of involving the young adults in decision making process for the country.

Previously, the President had requested for the Gen Z to appoint leaders so that they can hold a dialogue representing the youths demands. On Friday, the Chief of Staff, Felix Koskei propose the youths to choose 100 members to hold a dialogue with President Ruto. This was refuted harshly by the youths who said they are leaderless and all must be included and demanded for full inclusion.

The youth movement has been growing rapidly revealing a lot of distrust with the institutions of the government specifically the executive and legislature which they claim are biased and in it for their personal gains.

The response came very fast saying they don’t have leaders moreover it was wrong to dialogue with President Ruto because of the still ongoing massive abductions, detentions and killing of the innocent protesters   by the police.

When questioned about the killings, the President boldly denied and insisted that police operations were sabotaged by group of criminals who denied the police armory and attacked innocent citizens.
