Kamunge rose to prominence on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, showcasing a lavish lifestyle, sharing business tips, and promoting overseas job opportunities. Her social media influence attracted thousands of followers, making her a recognizable figure in the online space.
Her YouTube channel, Know My Story, launched in 2021, aimed to motivate audiences by sharing inspiring tales of struggle and success. However, the channel has seen minimal activity, with only 13 videos and limited engagement.

At the heart of the controversy is Kamunge’s recruitment and travel company, Trust Pin Verified Agency Ltd. The agency gained traction by promising Kenyan job seekers lucrative opportunities abroad, particularly in Mauritius. Through flashy social media campaigns, Kamunge showcased alleged success stories, building trust with hopeful job seekers.
However, the façade crumbled when victims began reporting that they had paid up to Ksh 200,000 for nonexistent job placements. The situation reached a boiling point when frustrated victims dragged Kamunge to the police. Nairobi Central Sub-County Commander Stephen Okal has since urged other victims to come forward as investigations continue.
Kamunge’s lawyer claims she is willing to refund those affected, attributing the fallout to “misrepresentation” by her agency.
Controversial Ties with Pastor Kanyari
Adding fuel to the fire are speculations about Kamunge’s relationship with the controversial preacher, Pastor Victor Kanyari. Social media users have alleged romantic ties between the two, though Kamunge has consistently denied these claims, maintaining that their relationship is strictly platonic.
