Tuesday, September 9, 2025 – Popular Kenyan content creator and cross-dresser, Kelvin Kinuthia, has once again set social media ablaze after disclosing his intention to undergo a uterus transplant, a groundbreaking medical procedure that could allow him to carry a pregnancy.
In a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Monday, September 8, Kinuthia revealed the deeply personal decision, writing: “Life is so private; no one knows I’m getting a UTX surgery soon.” The transplant, known as UTX, is often performed on individuals with uterine factor infertility who wish to conceive and experience childbirth.
This revelation follows Kinuthia’s previous transparency about his body transformation journey. In 2024, he documented his laser hair removal procedure aimed at permanently eliminating his beard — a step he said boosted his confidence after years of battling insecurities linked to frequent shaving and uncomfortable experiences at barbershops.
“I sometimes lose the motivation to create content because I feel I don’t look good,” he admitted at the time, explaining how judgmental stares often made him feel unwelcome.
The influencer promised fans consistent updates on his YouTube channel, expressing excitement about his next phase. His bold declaration about the uterus transplant has since attracted mixed reactions online, with supporters applauding his courage while critics voiced skepticism and concerns.
