Gospel musician Guardian Angel has issued a stern warning to blogger Senje Mdaku Wa Gulf, vowing to take legal action against her over repeated posts targeting his marriage to wife Esther.
The singer, who is often calm and non-confrontational when dealing with online trolls, said Senje had crossed the line with persistent defamatory claims.
Guardian Angel Breaks His Silence
In a strongly worded message shared on Senje’s Facebook account, Guardian Angel accused the blogger of mistaking his silence for weakness.
“I swear to God you will never say this again. Utakua unaona jina yangu unajificha. Nimekunyamazia kwa muda mrefu ukaona mimi ni mnyonge. Wait for my lawyer to serve you. Na ujue hii vita umenzisha by the time inaisha ndio sasa utanijua vizuri,” he warned.
The gospel artist maintained that he has tolerated criticism for too long but will now pursue legal redress, accusing the blogger of damaging his reputation with falsehoods.
Blogger Responds with Defiance
In response, Senje took to social media to rant, comparing Guardian Angel to other celebrities she had previously written about, including Mulamwah, Carol Sonnie, and Ruth K.
She questioned why Guardian was reacting differently, prompting Kenyans online to remind her that her long history of defaming public figures does not absolve her from accountability.
Senje has previously branded comedian Mulamwah as “stingy” and made controversial remarks about his family, sparking threats of retaliation from the entertainer, including contacting her Saudi-based employer.
Marriage Under Scrutiny
Guardian Angel and Esther have frequently faced public criticism due to their age difference, but the couple has consistently affirmed their commitment to each other. While the musician has often ignored speculative posts in the past, his latest move signals a shift toward defending his marriage through legal means.
If Guardian Angel follows through, this could mark one of the first high-profile defamation cases in Kenya’s entertainment industry involving a gospel star and a social media personality.
