A night of chaos engulfed Litein Boys High School on Sunday after students staged a violent strike that escalated into shocking destruction.

The rioting learners stormed the Principal’s residence, baying for his blood and forcing him and his family to flee for safety.

Armed with crude weapons and stones, the boys vandalized property, smashed windows, and left the once-serene home in ruins.

A viral video circulating online shows staff members surveying the aftermath of the attack, with scattered glass and damaged furniture testifying to the rage that swept through the compound.

What sparked the chaos?

Initial reports suggest that the strike was triggered by the administration’s refusal to allow students to watch the highly anticipated English Premier League clash between Arsenal and Manchester City.

However, insiders hint at deeper frustrations — unresolved grievances between students and school management that may have boiled over into violence.

Leaders condemn the incident

Education officials and local leaders have strongly condemned the rampage, warning that such actions tarnish the school’s once-esteemed reputation.

They have called for urgent measures to restore discipline, accountability, and dialogue within the institution, stressing that grievances must be addressed through peaceful channels, not violence.

The Ministry of Education is expected to launch an inquiry into the incident to uncover the underlying issues fueling unrest in schools.
