Bidco United and Kariobangi Sharks opened their Elite Preseason Cup tournament with wins over Nairobi City Stars and Posta Rangers respectively.
Bidco who have done tremendously well under coach Akhulia has done some shrwed business in the transfer window and had new recruit Chris Ochieng to thank as his solo goal was all that they needed to topple a stubborn City Stars in their match staged on Monday at the Utalii Grounds.
In the other match at the same ground, Sharks emerged 2-1 winners thanks to an own goalby Kennedy Owino and a Luke Otiala strike. Rangers consolation was bagged Eric Kipkirui.
In day two of the tournament set for Thika’s M-Pesa Foundation Academy grounds, new National Super League side Rainbow FC will be up against City Stars, Kariobangi Sharks taking on Kajiado with Posta Rangers entertaining Sofapaka.
