The Football Kenya Federation Leagues and Competitions Committee has heavily sanctioned Kenya Premier side Muhoroni Youth and National Super League outfit Migori Youth over hooliganism.

Muhoroni Youth was sanctioned over the abandonment of their game against KCB while Migori Youth suffered prohibitions over chaos during their game against Darajani Gogo at Migori Stadium.

On Wednesday afternoon, the federation released a terse state stating that Muhoroni lost the game on a 2-0 score and would pay a fine of Sh300,000.

Further, the club will host the next five matches away from Muhorobi Stadium and play a further five games in an empty stadium.

Additionally, Moses Adagala, Chairperson of Muhoroni Youth FC, is banned from attending the next three  Muhoroni Youth matches

The match was abandoned in the 90th minute after a section of club supporters attacked KCB FC technical bench members.

The five matches Muhoroni Youth will play away from home will be against Murang’a Seal, Kakamega Homebpyz, Gor Mahia, Kenya Police, and Sofapaka.

In the Migori Youth vs Darajani Gogo game, the Leagues and Competitions Committee noted that the 1-0 score line at full time will stand.

However, the committee banned Migori Stadium from hosting the next five home matches. The games will be played behind closed doors.

Additionally, Migori Youth FC was directed to pay Darajani Gogo FC for the damaged iPhone 14, and media equipment, and reimburse medical expenses incurred within fourteen days of this decision.

Migori Youth FC was further ordered to pay a fine of KES 200,000.
