The prime suspect in the murder of Nairobi Hospital Finance Director, Anne Adhiambo, has pleaded guilty to the murder charges.
Anne Adhiambo who appeared before the High Court on Thursday stated “Ni Ukweli” after being read the charges three times.
The court informed her of the potential consequences as she entered her plea and gave her time to speak with her lawyers.
“Nakupa muda Zaidi ndio uweze kuongea na wakili wako ambaye yuko mahakamani mzungumze wakuelezee vizuri kile unachoambia mahakama…’” the judge said.
The matter has now been referred to the Kibera law courts where she will be expected to take plea again.
Meanwhile, she will be held at the Langata women’s prison pending the mention of the case on November 8.
