The National Super League enters match day two on Saturday with Gusii FC traveling to the Coast region for an encounter against Mombasa Elite.
Last weekend, Gusii recorded an impressive 5-1 win over Vihiga Bullets and coach Kassim Junior is optimistic his charges will continue with their winning ways at Mbaraki Sports Club.
“We want to pick from where we left last weekend. Away matches especially in the Coast region are difficult but my boys are up to the task. We want to pick maximum points,” said Junior.
During the pre-season transfer window, Junior signed 16 players after parting ways with 15. “We almost overhauled the squad in the transfer window so the team chemistry is not yet there,” added Junior.
