FKF National Super League log leader Mara Sugar will on Saturday face a stern test against Mathare United.

Mara Sugar coach Francis Xavier admits that the game will be tough. “Mathare United is an experienced team but we are ready for them. We have prepared well and our target is maximum points,” said Xavier.

The game will be played at Utalii grounds in Nairobi at 1 p.m. Mara Sugar is unbeaten in the league so far.

Nairobi United plays Migori Youth at Awendo Green Stadium seeking to bounce back to winning ways. The game will be played behind closed doors since Migori Youth is banned from hosting games at home following crowd trouble during their game against Darajani Gogo at Migori Stadium. ‘

Nairobi United coach Paul Okatwa said: “Our focus is on maximum points after the disappointing draw against Silibwet last weekend.”

Speaking after a morning training session at Cardinal Otunga High School in Mosocho on Friday, Okatwa added: “Migori Youth is a good team since they finished third in the league last season but we are not scared of them. Playing the game without fans will be an added advantage to us because Migori fans are always hostile.”

Newcomers Luanda Villa will host Kajiado FC at Mumboha grounds in Luanda, Vihiga County as Mombasa Elite battles it out with Darajani Gogo at Mbaraki Sports Club.

Darajani Gogo is yet to win a game in the league so far. The club recently parted ways with coach Caleb Aringa who was replaced by Paul Ogai.

Stuttering Gusii will welcome second on the table at Cardinal Otunga High School.
