Zoo Kericho and Nairobi United will collide on Sunday for a chance to qualify for the National Super League.

The FKF National Super League promotion playoff will be played at Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology (RVIST) from 3 pm.

Zoo FC will be seeking to make a return to the FKF-NSL following their relegation in the 2020/21 season. They lost 1-0 to eventual Zone B champions Luanda Villa in the ultimate match of the season denying them a chance for the automatic promotion spot to the second-tier league.

Meanwhile, Nairobi United beat Young Bulls in the final rounds of the season to secure their promotion play-off spot. They will be seeking to make their first-ever appearance in the FKF-NSL.

The winner of the playoff will join champions Luanda Villa and Rainbow in the second tier for the FKF-NSL 2023/24 season.

At the same time, Kibera Soccer Ladies and Soccer Assassins will clash in a playoff match to determine the overall Women’s Division One champion.

Kibera Soccer Ladies won the Zone A title while Soccer Assassins became the Zone B champions for the 2022/23 season.

The two will be pitted against each other to determine the joint FKF Women’s Division One champion.

Soccer Assassins have made it back-to-back promotions. After gaining promotion into Division One in the 2021/22 season they now will be making their debut in the FKF-WPL. Meanwhile, Kibera Soccer Ladies will make their return after their relegation in the 2020/21 season.

In another winner takes all match, the stakes are raised as the promotion play-off match pitting Zone B’s Bungoma Queens and Zone A’s Uweza Women FC will also take center stage.

Both finished second in their respective zones and will get an opportunity to fight for the last promotion spot. They will be looking to make their first-ever appearance in the FKF-WPL in the 2023/24 season.

The play-off matches will be played in the RVIST Grounds in Nakuru.
