Posta Rangers maintained their lead on top of the FKF Premier League after battling to a 1-1 draw against AFC Leopards.
Rangers lead the log with 22 points followed by defending champions Gor Mahia and Murang’a Seal with 21 points each.
In other matches played over the weekend, Bandari secured a 2-0 victory over Kariobangi Sharks at Kasarani Annex.
First half ended with either sides unable to find the back of the net however, the dockers breakthrough goal was scored by Derick Nsibambi in the 52nd minute and he went on to score another in the 69th.
On the other hand, Tusker’s Mike Oduor gave his team an early second minute lead over Nairobi City Stars. David Odoyo extended the lead in the 19th minute and in the 42nd Mwangi Joseph found the back of the net following a free kick delivery from Mike Oduor. The first half ended with Tusker enjoying a 3-0 advantage.
Dennis Oalo scored City’s sole goal in the 63rd minute.
At Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay, Shabana secured their second victory in the league following a 2-1 win over Nzoia Sugar. Nyabuto and Michira gave Shabana the lead. Haki Victor pulled one back for the millers.
In other matches, KCB secured a 3-0 win over Bidco while Gor Mahia and Posta Rangers drew to Murang’a Seal and AFC Leopards respectively.
