The 2023/24 Kenya Cup will kick off on Saturday 2 December 2023 with a total of six fixtures on the cards.
Defending champions Kabras Sugar will get the action underway when they take on league returnees Kisumu in the early kickoff at the Kakamega Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Showgroud.
Kisumu RFC’s interim coach Fabian Olando said his charges are ready for the showdown against the defending champions. “We have had a good pre season and the boys are ready for the competition. Our main target this season is to maintain our Kenya Cup Status,” he said.
He added: “It will be a tough match against a very experienced side but we are ready for the game.”
Former champions KCB will take on Kenya Cup returnees Nondescript at the KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka as Kenya Harlequin host the Catholic Monks at the RFUEA Ground.
Menengai Oilers host Homeboyz at the Nakuru Showground with Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad welcoming Mwamba to the Kenyatta University grounds.
Nakuru RFC take on Strathmore Leos at the Nakuru Athletic Club.
This season’s Kenya Cup final will be played on Saturday 4 April 2024. The league will be played in a one off, round robin format, with the teams ranked third to sixth battling it out in the top six playoffs for away semifinals against the top two ranked teams at the close of the league season.
