Newcomers Luanda Villa maintained their unbeaten run in the National Super League (NSL) after battling from a goal down to hold visiting Nairobi United at Mumboha grounds in Vihiga County.

Striker Brian Lusamukha gave Nairobi United the lead in the first half before Brian Bet equalized for the hosts. Luanda Villa is the only unbeaten team in the league so far.

On Wednesday, Nairobi United popularly known as Naibos lost their unbeaten record after succumbing to a 2-0 loss against log leaders Mathare United at Ruaraka Sports Ground.

NSL top scorer increased his tally to eight goals after he scored a hattrick as Mara Sugar beat hosts Mully Children’s Family 3-0 at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Pascal Ogweno and Steve Kimari were on target of Mathare as they beat Kajiado FC 2-1 at Ildamat Stadium in Kajiado County. Elvis Shamalla scored Kajiado’s consolation goal.

At Mumias Sports Complex in Kakamega, Mombasa Stars came from a goal down to beat hosts Mulembe United 2-1 in an entertaining match while at Vapour grounds in Nairobi, Kibera Black Stars humbled Vihiga Bullets 3-1.

Elsewhere, Migori Youth thrashed Mombasa Elite 4-2 at Maraki Sports Ground in Mombasa. Elly Owade, Clinton Majura, Tony Bradley and Lucky Musyoki scored for Migori Youth while Emmanuel Chagwe and Sharrif Amubuombe scored Mombasa Elite’s consolation goals.
