Shabana suffered their heaviest defeat of the season after losing 4-0 to Ulinzi Stars at Ulinzi Sports Complex in Nairobi.

Bonaventure Muchika and Mark Bikokwa scored two first half goals while Ensosh Ochieng grabbed a brace in the second half to hand Shabana their heaviest loss of the season.

Shabana coach Sammy Okoth is now under pressure ahead of the game against Gor Mahia on Thursday. A member of Shabana’s executive committee said they will meet tomorrow to review the season with technical bench.

“We are dissatisfied with the performance of the team so far. We are thinking of making changes in the technical bench,” said the EC member who asked not to be named.

Already, the club has earmarked former Kenya Police coach Francis Baraza and current assistant coach Salim Babu as Okoth’s replacement incase he is shown the door.

Elsewhere, KCB moved to third of the log after drubbing Nairobi City Stars 4-1 at Kasarani Annex playground.

Nicholas Kipkirui, Hanif Wesonga, Francis Kahiro and Danson Namasaka were on target for the Bankers while Kelvin Etemesi scored Simba wa Nairobi’s consolation goal.

Namasaka was later sent off for a second bookable offense.

Posta Rangers lead the log with 19 points followed by defending champions Gor Mahia with 16.

At the same time, Shabana’s game against Gor Mahia will be played at Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani, according to secretary general Elizaphan Kerama.

“We decided to move the game from Homa Bay to Nairobi. Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay cannot host a high risk game. Our efforts to secure Narok Stadium failed because the federation felt it’s not ready to host games,” said Kerama. Ends
