Sofapaka FC coach Ezekiel Akwana has warned that it will not be business as usual when they face Kakamega Homeboyz at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega on Saturday.
Sofapaka who have registered mixed results in their last two games after beating KCB 3-0 and losing to a similar margin against Talanta, will be hoping to beat the home side to collect three points that will see them get out of the last position on the league’s log.
Speaking during his last training session at Marist International University College grounds in Karen before travelling to Kakamega, Akwana stated it is unfortunate that they lost their last home clash against Talanta after their emphatic win against the bankers stating that it was only a matter of time before the boys adapt to his playing style.
“Yes, we played well against Talanta but lost, that match is gone now we focus our energy on the task ahead at Bukhungu. We have prepared well and all that is left is to go there and play according to script, collect three points and wait for our next match,” quipped Akwana.
After ten matches, Batoto ba Mungu have found themselves in an unusual spot lying at bottom of the table with 7 points after managing only two wins, one draw and losing seven of their matches.
The 2009 champions will be hoping the weather favors them in order to down the Patrick Odhiambo led charges who sit pretty at 8th spot of the table standings on 15 points.
