FKF Premier League log leaders Gor Mahia battled from a goal down to hold Nzoia Sugar to a 2-2 draw at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay on Saturday afternoon.

Mohammed Barisa silenced the home crowd when he put Nzoia ahead in the 9th minute after he was put through by Joseph Oyugi. Barisa added the second in the 30th minute when he converted Victor Maliachi’s cross.

Ugandan import Patrick Kaddu pulled one back for Gor Mahia just before halftime after he was set up by Austine Odhiambo. The league’s top scorer Benson Omalla pulled the teams level in the 56th minute through a penalty kick.

Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) was held to a barren draw against Talanta FC at the Kenya Police Sacco Stadium in South B.

Nairobi City Stars continued with their fine form after an impressive 1-0 win over Bandari. Robinson Asenwa scored the all-important goal of the game that was played at Ruaraka playground. Following the win, Simba wa Nairobi moved to the 7th position on the log.

At St Sebastian Park, hosts Murang’a Seal held Ulinzi Stars to a 1-1 draw.  Mark Bikokwa scored for Ulinzi while Batts Awita equalized for the hosts.

On Sunday, Shabana travels to Kakamega for an encounter with Kakamega Homeboyz at Bukhungu Stadium while struggling Sofapaka welcomes Kariobangi Sharks at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Former champions Tusker will host Posta Rangers at Ruaraka grounds as Bidco and AFC Leopards square it out at St Sebastian Park in Murang’a. Muhoroni Youth will be at home against Kenya Police at Muhoroni Stadium.
