Tusker recorded their third consecutive win in the FKF Premier League after a narrow 1-0 win over Kenya Police at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Fabian Barthez scored the all important goal of the game in the 90th minute to pile more misery on the law enforcers.

At SportsPesa Arena in Murang’a, hosts Murang’a Seals battled from a goal down to hold AFC Leopards to a 1-1 draw. Victor Omune gave Ingwe an early lead while Simon Semo replied for Murang’a Seal.

Hosts Muhoroni Youth edged Sofapaka 1-0 at Muhoroni Stadium in Kisumu County. Babu Tarrick was on target for the hosts after he was set up by Christopher Raila.

On Thursday, Shabana will seek to build on their weekend win when they tackle Bidco United at Thika Municipal Stadium. KCB will entertain Nzoia Sugar at Police Sacco Stadium. Ulinzi Stars will host Posta Rangers at Ulinzi Sports Complex as Talanta FC welcomes Kariobangi Sharks at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Meanwhile, Naivas FC extended their lead at the top of the National Super League log despite being held to a barren draw by hosts Migori Youth at Awendo Green Stadium.

Naivas opened a four points lead at the top. They have 34 points while second placed Mathare United is on 30 points.

In another rescheduled second tier match, Nairobi United moved to fifth on the log after a 2-0 win over visiting Gusii FC at Kasarani Annex.

Robinson Angal gave Nairobi United the lead in the 60th minute while Brian Ogutu wrapped up the scores with 10 minutes to go. Naibos have 24 points from 14 games and remain firmly in the promotion chase.
