

Harambee Starlets arrived in Gaborone Botswana for their return leg of the 2024 Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) against Botswana, which is set to be played on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
Coach Beldine Odemba has named 23 players as part of the travelling team for their second leg Should Harambee Starlets emerge as the aggregate winners of the two-legged qualifier, they qualify for the 2024 Women Africa Cup of Nations, making their second appearance in seven years.
In the first leg played at Nyayo National Stadium on Wednesday, Starlets were held to a 1-1 draw by Botswana and face an uphill task to overturn the result. In the first leg, Keitunetse Dithede opened the scoring for Botswana in the 36th minute. Marjoline Nekesa seized the penalty opportunity, equalizing the scores in the 48th minute.
Starlets fly back home on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
