Mara Sugar will on Saturday lift the National Super League title if they win against second placed Mathare United.
The two sides which have already qualified for the FKF Premier League will collide in the penultimate round of games at Awendo Green Stadium from 2pm. When the two teams faced off in the first leg, Mathare United won the encounter 2-0.
Mara Sugar leads the log with 81 points, two ahead of the Slum Boys. Going into the game, the two teams have been on an imperious form with Mathare winning 13 games on the trot while the Cane Millers have not been beaten in 12 games.
Mara Sugar tactician Benedict Wanjala says: “We want a win against Mathare United so that we can achieve our main target which is lifting the NSL trophy.”
Third placed Nairobi United fourth placed Nairobi United are battling for the promotion play off.
Nairobi United will host Migori Youth while Naivas entertains relegated Gusii FC at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. Naivas has 69 points while Nairobi United is on 61 with two games to go.
In the relegation dogfight, Mulembe United, Mombasa Elite and Kajiado FC are still battling to avoid the drop.
Mulembe has garnered 35 points, Mombasa Elite 34 and Kajiado FC 33 points. Kajiado hosts Luanda Villa at Ildamat Stadium as Mombasa Elite vists Darajani Gogo.
Mulembe United will be at Mumias Sports Complex for a date with Kwale based SS Assad.
Already, Gusii FC and Silibwet Leons have been relegated from the second tier league. Fortune Sacco, APS Bomet and 3K FC have gained promotion to the National Super League.
