Julius Masaba is pleased to return to FKF Premier League giants AFC Leopards ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Masaba joined Ingwe from FKF-PL side Kariobangi. The former Ligi Ndogo and Black Stars forward joined the club on a 2-year contract.

“I once played for the AFC Leopards Under 20 in 2013, which made me want to come back to the senior side. My late dad was a big fan of the club, and it is a dream come true for me. I feel at home. I feel proud seeing that I made my dad’s dream come true . I know he is proud wherever he is about this big move.” Said the Butere Boys High School about this move.

“Playing football  has always been my dream ever since I was young, it has always made me give my best whenever I’m in the pitch.”

“At AFC Leopards  I feel at home,” Masaba.

At the same time, striker Sydney Lokale has joined  AFC Leopards  on a one-year contract.

The 23-year-old center  forward has previously  featured  for Kariobangi Sharks, HIFK, Finland, KCB FC and FC Saint Eloi Lupopo in Congo

The club has also confirmed that they have reached an agreement  with goalkeeper Levis Omondi Opiyo to extend  his stay  at the club.

Opiyo  has extended  his stay at the club for one year. This will be Levis’ fourth season  at the club having joined AFC Leopards  from Wazito FC  in November 2021. He made his debut in an FKF-PL match against  Sofapaka FC  in Wundanyi.

In the 2023/24 season, Opiyo featured in 25 matches, playing for 2,250 minutes and managed to keep 15 clean sheets. Ends
