The Harambee Stars coach, Engin Firat, has named the travelling team for the 2025 AFCON qualifier matches against Zimbabwe and Namibia scheduled to be played on September 6 and 10, 2024.

Captain Michael Olunga, Jonah Ayunga, Eric Ouma, Joseph Okumu and Richard Odada are set to join the team in Uganda.

The first match will be an encounter against Zimbabwe on September 6, 2024 at Nelson Mandela Stadium in Kampala, Uganda followed by the second against Namibia on September 10, 2024 in South Africa.

Kenya is playing her home matches in Uganda because there is no stadium approved by CAF to host international matches.

The team departed for Uganda from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Monday, September 2, 2024 and travel on to South Africa on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

Coach Firat named AFC Leopard goalkeeper Levis Opiyo and defender Levis Opiyo in the travelling squad.
