FKF Premier League side Ulinzi Stars on Wednesday unveiled former player Danstun Nyaudo as their head coach.
Nyaudo returns to the 2010 league champions a day after the military side parted ways with Antony ‘Modo’ Kimani.
Nyaudo will be deputized by Hamisi Abdalla and Fadhili Yaya while former international goalkeeper Francis Onyiso returns as the goalkeeping coach.
“”We today welcomed coach Nyaudo who will serve as head coach. He will be assisted by Hamisi Abdalla, Fadhili Yaya and Francis Onyiso,” the club said in a brief statement.
The club resumed their pre season training on Tuesday and the new technical bench took charge on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the club announced the departure of Kimani after an unsuccessful season with the club. Kimani thanked the club and wished them well.
Separately, Patrick Odhiambo is set to join FKF Premier League side from Kakamega Homeboyz. The Bankers are set to part ways with Bernard Mwalala, according to sources.
Coaching changes are also expected at Bandari, Kakamega Homeboyz and Shabana as clubs gear up for the 2024-25 season which will kick off in August.
At Bandari, Harambee Stars assistant coach Kenneth Odhiambo is set to replace John Baraza while Kakamega Homeboyz is looking for a coach following the departure of Odhiambo.
Shabana executive is divided over the future of Sammy Pamzo Omollo who rescued Tore Bobe from the chaws of relegation. Some officials want to retain him while others want to bring on board veteran coach Francis Baraza.
