FKF Premier League outfit Tusker FC will play three build up matches during their pre season tour of Uganda, scheduled for August 4th to August 11th, 2024.
“This tour marks a significant step in our preparations for the upcoming season, as we aim to strengthen team cohesion and readiness through competitive friendly matches,” the club announced in a statement.
During their stay in Uganda, the Brewers will engage in three exciting friendly matches against prominent local teams against NEC FC, Kitara FC and Lugazi.
On August 6, they will face NEC while the following day, they will entertain Kitara. Tusker will conclude their pre season with an encounter against Lugazi FC.
The club statement added: “These matches promise to be intense and competitive, providing invaluable opportunities for our players to fine-tune their skills and tactics under match conditions.”
After the conclusion of the friendly fixtures, the team will return to Nairobi on August 11th, where they will enter the final phase of their pre-season training regimen.
The players will during this period focus on further enhancing their physical conditioning and tactical strategies, ensuring that they are fully prepared for the upcoming season.

After parting ways with 11 players, the club has begun the rebuilding process and has already signed experienced left back Dennis Wanjala from Nairobi City Stars.
The club is expected to sign 10 more players in the current transfer window. The club began their pre season training last week under assistant coach Charles Okere who took over from Robert Matano who left following the expiry of his contract.
