Tusker Youth team coaches Peter Kariuki and Paul Adera have graduated with CAF B coaching diplomas after completing the four-month course by the Football Kenya Federation.
For Kariuki, the achievement is not just personal but symbolic of the progress he’s seen in his own coaching journey.
“It feels amazing to finally achieve this milestone,” said Kariuki.
He added; “I’ve always believed in the power of education, and this diploma represents everything I’ve worked for as a coach. It’s a reminder that growth never stops. I’m excited to bring the knowledge I’ve gained back to Tusker and help elevate the next generation of players.”
Kariuki’s passion for coaching has been evident. Known for his leadership on and off the field, he has been instrumental in shaping the club’s young talents and instilling in them a winning mentality.
Adera, shared a similar sentiment. Adera, who has been with the Tusker youth academy for several years, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to grow in his new role.
“This diploma means a lot to me,” Adera reflected. “It’s not just a piece of paper—it’s a recognition of the hard work and dedication that go into coaching. I’ve always had a deep love for football, and this qualification gives me the tools to pass that knowledge on to the players I work with. I’m proud to be part of a club that supports its coaches, and I’m ready to take on the challenges ahead.”
He adds; “We want to thank the management and our head coaches for allowing us to take this step and offering us all the necessary support.”
Both Kariuki and Adera have been integral in shaping the future of Tusker FC’s youth system. Their combined expertise and newfound qualifications promise a bright future for the club’s development programs.
