Junior Starlets captain Elizabeth Ochaka has been handed her first call up to the senior Harambee Starlets team for two friendly matches to be held in Morocco.
She has been called up alongside Nyakach Girls prodigy Christine Adhiambo by coach Beldine Odemba. Ochaka and Adhiambo impressed during the FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup and are set to strengthen the team’s defensive options.
Christine Chesang of Trinity Starlets and Diana Cherono of Vihiga Queens have also earned their maiden call ups for the two games that will be played on Friday and Tuesday.
Chesang and Cherono have been rewarded for their outstanding form in the ongoing 2024/25 FKF Women’s Premier League season.
The first match is scheduled for Friday, November 29, 2024, with kickoff at 8:00 PM EAT, while the second match will take place on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 1:45 PM EAT.
The team is set to travel to Morocco on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, ready to build on their recent progress and showcase their potential on the international stage.
