FKF Premier League title contenders Tusker FC on Wednesday announced the return of winger Luke Namanda from AFC Leopards on a short-term contract untill the end of the season.

The dynamic and talented Namanda returns to Ruaraka after three years, having previously left the club in 2021.

Namanda left for Rwanda, where he played for Musanze FC for two seasons, before coming back home to join Leopards.

The winger, known for his pace, creativity, and ability to deliver key assists, is expected to make an immediate impact on the field.

“We are delighted to welcome Luke back to Tusker FC,” said Tusker FC’s head coach Charles Okere.

“He’s a player with great potential, and his previous experience with us will be valuable. We believe his addition will give us a boost as we continue to push for success in the league and other competitions,” added the tactician.

Namanda, who previously enjoyed a successful stint at Tusker, expressed his excitement about returning to the club: “It feels great to be back at Tusker FC. I’ve always felt at home here, and I’m looking forward to helping the team achieve our goals. When I left here, I left as a league champion. I am coming back and I am hopeful I can return with the same touch and win trophies. I can’t wait to get started and give my best for the fans and the club.”
