In a surprising turn of events, President William Ruto has announced that the much-feared El Nino rains, which were predicted by the Kenya Meteorological Department, will not wreak havoc on the country as earlier anticipated. Instead, Ruto revealed during a church service in Dagoretti South that the Met department has revised its forecast to heavy but non-destructive rains, a development he hailed as a blessing for the agricultural sector.

“Who is God?” exclaimed Ruto to the congregation. “They said we would face El Nino that would destroy our homes and properties, but God has intervened. We will have significant rains, but they won’t bring destruction. We thank God for this abundant blessing. Our farmers are prepared, and we are ready to harvest plentiful crops.”

Ruto also credited his government’s prayers for rains, held at the Nyayo National Stadium in February, for the current abundance of rainfall. Despite criticism at the time, he asserted that these prayers had resulted in prolonged rains, enabling farmers to increase production for the nation.

With this newfound optimism, Ruto pledged to invest more resources and effort into agriculture and food production, emphasizing his commitment to ensuring the country’s food security.

Stay tuned for updates on this miraculous weather shift and its impact on the nation’s agricultural landscape!
