ANDREW TATE’S HOMES RAIDED BY ROMANIAN POLICE
The Romanian Police raided the homes of controversial influencer Andrew Tate on Friday amid an investigation into new allegations.
Prosecutors say Tate, already facing trial for rape and human trafficking, could be charged with sex with underage persons, trafficking of minors, money laundering, and attempting to influence witnesses.
The social media influencers Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have denied all charges brought against them in the past. The two were arrested in Romania in December 2022 before they were released from house arrest in August 2023.
This time, the operation included searches of four houses located in Bucharest and Ilfov County, conducted by DIICOT—the Romanian Directorate for Investigating Organised Crime and Terrorism.
“Although the allegations in the search warrant are not yet fully clarified , they include suspicions of human trafficking and money laundering,” Tate’s representative said in a statement .
“The brothers’ legal team is here to ensure that all formalities are followed properly.”
The probe has reportedly been ongoing for some time, focusing on Andrew Tate. Several sources say it was an ongoing investigation.
According to Tate, he posted on X (formerly Twitter) following up on the raid: “The Matrix is real. And they have a tried and true playbook. Slander is their number one tool and the process is the punishment. But unfortunately for them Good always wins in the end.”
Misogynist Tate was banned from a number of social media sites years ago.
He had always maintained that the Romanian prosecutors have no evidence on their case against him, and it is a whole conspiracy case against him to gag his voice.
The Tate brothers, ex-kickboxers with dual UK-US nationality, are alleged to have run an adult content business that exploited women as a criminal organization.
Two female Romanian associates were charged alongside the Tates in June last year. There were seven alleged victims identified. The Tates also face unrelated sexual offence charges in the UK.
