The late Moi-era Cabinet Minister Simeon Nyachae family will have to wait longer to share on the father’s multi billion empire.
This is after Judge Erick Ogolla of the High Court adjourned the succession hearing to July 25th 2023.
The suit was raised by a woman who claimed to having been married to Nyachae wanting to be included in the inheritance.

In the petition, Margaret Chweya Nyachae claims that the late Minister’s will was altered after his demise. Her son, Ronny has called for swift action from the court.
“I just want justice for my family; it’s just unfortunate that we can’t sit down together as a family and sort things out. My stepbrother, Charles Nyachae, is here today. He is my family and I love him. I just want a peaceful ending to this matter,” he said following the court ruling.
Margaret has been accused of being married to four men, an allegation she vehemently denies.
At the time of his passing, Nyachae had five wives and 20 children. His first wife Esther died in August 2016 after battling a long illness.
