JUNET MOHAMED PRAISES PRESIDENT RUTO’S DEVELOPMENT TOUR IN NYANZA

Suna East MP Junet Mohamed hailed President William Ruto on Wednesday as the Head of State embarked on a development tour of the Nyanza region.

Accompanying Ruto, Junet praised the president for making an effort and more importantly, how regional development was finally taking shape courtesy of the prevailing tranquility in Kenya.

Junet said, “Sisi tunataka tushikane namna hii ile tufanye maendeleo, sisi tumebaki nyuma kimaendeleo.stima imefika juzi, barabara ndo inaanzishwa sai, mheshimiwa sisi tulikuwa tumedhani sisi ni waganda.”

“We want to unite so that we can realize development; we have lagged. We just got electricity the other day and the roads are being launched now. It reached the point whereby we were thinking ourselves to be Bagandas.”

An air of progress and appreciation in regard to efforts in devolved units on development can be felt from his speeches.

Junet also thanked President Ruto by endorsing Raila Odinga for the chairmanship of the African Union Commission.

“President, you have taken up this road, and if you continue like this, it will go to God. Continue with this road totally; it is blessed and is a road which the people here love.”

President Ruto has lined up several stops, starting with Homa Bay on Thursday, where he is set to attend a thanksgiving ceremony for Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi.

On Friday, he will head to Siaya, where he is scheduled to launch several projects and attend the homecoming of Energy CS Opiyon Wandayi.
