According to Kemunto, the help to needy participants included linkage to psychiatrists, and advice to reach out to the nearest health facilities or reproductive health champions in the community.

The NGO’s executive Director, Mary Kibai, underscored the significance of the program, citing how to cope with campus life, self-advancement, skills acquisition, and preparation for the job market as some of its key components.

During the sessions, four school leavers were also involved upon the realization that they also underwent similar problems to their graduate counterparts.

Other constraints noted included vulnerability to financial and food security which called for scholarship provision and adoption of appropriate farming technology in agriculture to improve their welfare.

Job Mutopesh explained the graduates were educated to embrace agriculture for food sufficiency and economic empowerment.

Purity Mong’ina and Obed Osoro, the participants remarked from the mentorship, that they were able to craft appealing curriculum vitae, shun peer pressure influence, and be flexible in job selection.
