MOSES KURIA SEEKS DP GACHAGUA’S SUPPORT TO BECOME MT KENYA KINGPIN

Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria seeks Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua backing him in his bid to become the kingpin of the Mt Kenya region, from there, he believes, it will then set him on his path to becoming Kenya’s sixth President.

Kuria spoke while seeking reassurance from Gachagua the Deputy President following his exit from the Cabinet.

DP Rigathi Gachagua reacting to the situation, during the burial of Kiambu Senator Karungo Thangwa’s relatives in Githunguri, said: “My brother Moses Kuria, relax. Hakuna mlango wanafunga bila kufungua ingine.”

In other words, he told Kuria to calm down, for every door that closes opens another one. “We wish you well.”

The DP reminded Kuria that, still at a young age, such a situation was likely to be part of God’s plan, and thus he should be hopeful that other doors may open.

Among the several Cabinet Secretaries who were fired in his recent reshuffle, Kuria went to X to publicly appreciate the message by Gachagua. “To my brother DP Rigathi Gachagua. Thank you for your fine words. Indeed, God has His own designs. I am a believer,” Kuria wrote.

Further, he expressed being determined to become a Mt Kenya kingpin and the sixth President of Kenya. “I strongly believe that God will make me the present Mt Kenya kingpin and the 6th President of the Republic of Kenya. Asante Ndugu,” added Kuria.

President Ruto fired the whole Cabinet and reconstituted it on July 11, 2024. While President Ruto reduced his Cabinet to ten, he appointed eleven new ones, his new Attorney General included.

Critical of the overhaul, he added five more Cabinet Secretaries, the latest of whom hails from Raila Odinga’s ODM party, as a significant game-changer on the face of the administration.
