Senator Okiya Omtatah has taken the EPRA boss to court for contempt of court for disobeying a court order, suspending the implementation of the Finance Act, 2023.
On Wednesday, the senator told the court that the order suspending the Act was served to the government, but the agency went ahead and increase the fuel prices to the all-time high since independence.
The senator together with other petitioners want the application to be heard ahead of other applications.
