Kegati, Kisii County – In a shocking incident, a suspect involved in a theft was burned along with his vehicle on the road from Kisii to Keroka. The suspect, along with his accomplices who managed to escape, had invaded a homestead in Kegati town with the intention of robbing the occupants.
The intruders tied up the residents, but one of the occupants managed to escape and raise an alarm, attracting the attention of neighbors.
The community quickly responded, capturing one of the thieves. In a tragic turn of events, the suspect was set on fire along with his vehicle.
Among the items recovered from the vehicle were police uniforms, raising further questions about the nature of the crime and the identities of the suspects.
Local authorities are investigating the incident and searching for the remaining accomplices
