FKF Women Premier League to kick off on September 23 - Kenyan News

The Football Kenya Federation on Tuesday unveiled the fixtures for the upcoming 2023/24 FKF Women’s Premier League season.

The league will kick off, set to kick off on September 23, 2023, with defending champions Vihiga Queens launching their campaign at home against the 2023 FKF Women’s Cup victors, Ulinzi Starlets at Mumias Sports Complex.

Gaspo Women, who finished second runners-up, will battle Bunyore Starlets at the Stima Members Club.

Newly promoted side Kibera Soccer Ladies will take on FKF Women’s Premier League newcomers, Bungoma Queens which is making their return to the top-flight league at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma.

Bungoma Queens emerged victorious in a tightly contested third-place playoff against Uweza Women in Nakuru.

Moneybags Kenya Police Bullets which is under coach Beldine Odemba will face off with newly promoted Madira Soccer Assassins at Police Sacco Stadium in Nairobi.

Trans Nzoia Falcons will face Zetech Queens at Ndura playgrounds in Kitale as Nakuru City Queens battle it out with Wadaida at ASK grounds in Nakuru.

While the transfer window is currently open since Friday, July 21, 2023, it’s scheduled to conclude on Friday, September 29, according to a communiqué from the football governing body.
