



Football Kenya Federation has set dates for the FKF Premier League/ FKF National Super League promotion/relegation playoff pitting Wazito against Migori Youth.
In a statement from the football governing body, the first leg will be played at the Migori Stadium on Saturday with Muhoroni Stadium hosting the second leg set to be played on Saturday, July 22.
Migori Youth is seeking promotion to the top-tier league after amassing 62 points and finishing third in the 2022/23 FKF National Super League while Wazito will be fighting to avoid relegation after finishing 16th in the 2022/23 FKF Premier League.
Oluoch added that Wazito starts the play-off favorites. “Wazito has played in the Kenya Premier League for three seasons so they are experienced. However, don’t write us off,” he noted.
He congratulated Shabana and Murang’a Seal on their promotion to the Kenya Premier League. “We have had a good season but the two teams were better than us. We want to join them in the KPL,” said Oluoch.
