The late President Moi awarded Gor Mahia a parcel of land in Kasarani but Sport Kenya claims to own the land.
According to Ambrose Rachier the club chairman said the need to write to the President was necessitated by the stiffness of Sports Kenya management.
“Sports Kenya Director General Pius Metto told us (Gor Mahia) that the land belongs to Kasarani Stadium despite the fact that we have an allotment letter that was given to us by the late President Moi,” says Rachier.
AFC Leopards were equally gifted 15 hectares of land near kasarani. Through the help of ICT cabinet Gor Mahia have managed to get the attention of the president.
