Applications for the KenGen positions are due by November 12, 2024, while applications for KenTrade roles must be submitted by November 18, 2024.
KenGen, Africa’s leading geothermal energy provider, has listed a range of positions, including Manager roles in Power Operations, Quality and Safety, and Business Process Reengineering. Other positions include Senior Engineer, Insurance Officer, Property Officer, Technicians in various fields, and Craftsmen positions. KenTrade, a state corporation under the National Treasury, is tasked with managing Kenya’s national electronic single window system to streamline trade facilitation. Openings at KenTrade include roles for a Manager in Human Resources, an Internal Audit Manager, and a driver. Interested candidates can apply through KenTrade’s e-recruitment portal at portal.kentrade.go.ke and find more information on their official website.
The government strongly encourages women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and individuals from marginalized areas to apply, underlining its commitment to inclusivity. KenGen has cautioned that any form of canvassing, falsifying, or misrepresenting qualifications will lead to disqualification, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
These job openings offer candidates an opportunity to contribute to critical sectors of Kenya’s economy, advancing both energy generation and trade efficiency.
