The 2026 Magical Kenya Open concluded this past weekend at Karen Country Club, once again delivering not only world-class golf but a vibrant entertainment experience that continues to redefine the tournament’s appeal.
While the championship action drew global attention, this year’s edition stood out for its dynamic off-course atmosphere. Fans enjoyed curated hospitality spaces, interactive, premium food and beverage experiences, and live entertainment that transformed the tournament into a full lifestyle event.
Throughout the week, spectators moved seamlessly between the fairways and social spaces, creating an energy that reflected the evolving nature of modern sport where competition and culture go hand in hand. Corporate guests and fans alike embraced the immersive environment, making the MKO one of the most anticipated dates on Kenya’s sporting calendar.
From Friday to Sunday, the 2026 Magical Kenya Open featured a structured entertainment programme at the Johnnie Walker Entertainment Village, complementing the action on the course.
The Village opened on Friday, February 20, after the second round and the cut, with performances from DJs Nijo, Redbone, Vera and Festa. Resident DJ Trixy and emcee Kibunja anchored the evening as fans transitioned into the weekend programme.
On Saturday, following Round Three, Nyashinski headlined the entertainment line-up. Supported by DJ Mista C, DJ E, DJ Lisney and Daq Child, alongside resident DJ Benitez and emcee Gogo, the performance drew strong crowds and marked one of the highest-attended evenings of the tournament.
The event concluded on Sunday, February 22, with the final round followed by a headline performance from Njerae. DJs MGM, Ivy, Grauchi and Pierra performed earlier in the day, with resident DJ Payne leading the closing programme.
As the Official Alcohol Beverage and Entertainment Partner, Johnnie Walker supported the Village as part of its broader commitment to enhancing the overall fan experience at the tournament.
