Shabana is expected to start their KPL preparations next week. Already other teams have kicked off their pre season training. Shabana coach Sammy Okoth said he is excited about the release of the fixtures.
“We are looking forward to the kick off. The fixtures have been released and this will help us in our preparations,” said the tactician. His Murang’a Seal counterpart Vincent Nyaberi warned that they will not be pushovers in the league.
“Murang’a Seal is not going to KPL to donate points to teams. We are going there to compete. Making our league debut against our rivals Shabana makes it interesting,” Nyaberi said. He said the club is in the process of signing at least five experienced players. “We have already identified the players. We expect them to join us when we start our pre season training,” he added.
