Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Beatrice Elachi is grieving the loss of her son, Elvis Murakana, who tragically passed away on Tuesday, March 25. Murakana succumbed to injuries sustained in a severe road accident and had been receiving intensive care treatment until his untimely demise.


Nation Mourns with MP Elachi
President William Ruto led the nation in expressing condolences to the grieving family. In a heartfelt message, the president shared words of comfort, quoting Psalm 147:3:
“May God grant Mheshimiwa Beatrice Elachi and the family strength to bear with the loss of their dear son, Elvis Murakana. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), under which Elachi was elected, also extended their sympathy, acknowledging the magnitude of the loss.
