Daughter’s Journey to Saudi Arabia

James Epurati, the father of the deceased, revealed that his daughter had traveled to the Middle East six years ago in search of better job opportunities to support her family. However, on December 16, 2024, the family was informed that she had fallen seriously ill and was bedridden.

Tragically, just two days later, on December 18, she passed away. Since then, the family has struggled to raise the Ksh.450,000 required to repatriate her body for burial.

Family’s Plea for Assistance

Epurati has called on local leaders, including their Member of Parliament, Senator, and Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, as well as President William Ruto, to intervene and help bring his daughter’s remains home.

“I appeal to our leaders and well-wishers to hear my cry. I am helpless, and my wish is to see my daughter’s body returned so that we can give her a dignified burial,” Epurati pleaded.

The family hopes for swift intervention so they can lay their daughter to rest in her homeland.
